Information handled
Hosting and security systems may process IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent and related server-log data. The first-party /collect/ event carries page context, browser language, local time zone and referrer information. If you email us, the mail system handles the address, subject, message and attachments you choose to send.
Always-on base statistics
In production, one limited cookieless first-party event is requested on page load for aggregate use, reliability and abuse investigation. It runs whether the cookie notice is accepted, dismissed or untouched. The notice controls only optional browser preference storage and any future optional third-party features; it does not suppress the base event. Local development excludes this event.
Cookies, storage and external links
The site currently uses localStorage to remember dismissal of the informational notice. It does not contain Google AdSense code, a placeholder publisher identifier, personalised advertising cookies or embedded YouTube playback. External source and email links are governed by their own providers.
Purposes, retention and security
Data is used to serve and secure the site, understand aggregate use, diagnose failures, respond to enquiries and investigate correction or rights requests. Retention depends on hosting, security and mail operations and should be limited to what those purposes require. Internet transmission cannot be guaranteed completely secure.

You can clear localStorage in your browser. For access, correction or deletion questions about information you submitted, contact server@migelfoods.com. We may request minimal information to locate the record and protect another person’s data.
Children
The site is a general food-information publication and is not designed to solicit personal information from children. A parent or guardian can contact us about a concern.
