The site currently uses no advertising cookie and no personalisation cookie. It stores one local browser preference when you dismiss the informational notice.
Essential first-party request
The production /collect/ event is a cookieless base-statistics request, not an optional advertising cookie. It is limited to approved first-party context and remains active regardless of the notice state. This separation prevents the interface from falsely claiming that dismissing a banner disables basic server-side measurement.
Preference storage
Dismissing the notice writes migel-cookie-note=dismissed in localStorage. Clearing site data removes it and the notice will appear again. No account or cross-site profile is created.
Future changes
If advertising, analytics cookies, embeds or personalisation are introduced, this inventory and the controls must be updated before activation. Where consent is legally required, optional technology will not run before the relevant choice.
